Shannon N. Brown is a filmmaker, writer, director & producer. She is a native of Chicago, Illinois and an alumna of Fisk University, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Arts in English. Upon matriculation, she decided to follow her passion of film/tv production with pursuing a Master's Of Fine Arts in Film at Howard University. After finishing her film program in 2020 with honors, Shannon worked as a producer on several indie films and series such as Zanah Thirus’ documentary “Daughters of Eve” , Sex, Vlogs & Kidnappings” a series by Kyla Silvers, and “The Before” a Black queer romance by Olivia Miles. She has also written for the award winning web series "Adultin Series".
Shannon has accomplished achievements such as being a finalist for the Home Depot & African American Film Critics Association 72- Hour Film Challenge, internships with EICOP HBCU In LA, ViacomCBS and Allied Global Marketing. She was also an AD Color Futures Finalist in 2023. Currently Shannon is an Associate Content Producer for The Martin Agency where she produces broadcast commercials and content for brands like AXE, TIAA, Old Navy and Papa Johns.
